Cancellation & Refund Guidelines(Euttarakhand Package)

General Cancellation Policy (Applicable to All Tour Packages)

This cancellation policy applies to all domestic and pilgrimage tour packages booked through our website — www.euttarakhandpackage.com

🔹 Cancellation by the Customer

If a customer cancels the tour for any reason, the following cancellation charges will apply:

  • Up to 30 Days before travel: 20% deduction.
  • 15–29 Days before travel: 20% deduction, 80% refund.
  • 10–14 Days before travel: 30% deduction, 70% refund.
  • 9–5 Days before travel: 80% deduction, 20% refund.
  • Less than 5 Days before travel: No refund.

🔹 No Show Policy

If the guest does not arrive on the day of departure without prior notice, it will be treated as a No Show, and no refund will be provided.

🔹 Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days.
  • Transaction charges, payment gateway fees, and bank charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method only.

🔹 Force Majeure

No refund shall be applicable for cancellations or disruptions caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political disturbances
  • Roadblocks or landslides
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic-related travel bans

However, we will try our best to provide rescheduling support wherever possible.

Special Cancellation Policy – for Chardham Yatra

This special policy applies only to Chardham Yatra Packages covering:

  • Yamunotri Temple
  • Gangotri Temple
  • Kedarnath Temple
  • Badrinath Temple

Due to high-altitude terrain, unpredictable weather, helicopter dependency, and government regulations in Uttarakhand, special cancellation terms apply.

🔹 Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Chardham Only)

  • 45 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost will be deducted as administrative charges.
  • 21–30 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost will be charged.
  • 15–20 days before departure: 40% of total tour cost will be charged.
  • 7–14 days before departure: 60% of total tour cost will be charged.
  • Less than 7 days / No Show: 100% of total tour cost will be charged. No refund applicable.

🔹 Kedarnath Helicopter Cancellation (If Applicable)

  • Helicopter tickets are subject to aviation company rules.
  • In case of weather cancellation, refund will be processed as per helicopter operator policy.
  • Service charges or processing fees are non-refundable.

🔹 Weather / Landslide / Road Blockage in Chardham

In case the yatra is disrupted due to:

  • Heavy rainfall
  • Landslides
  • Road closures
  • Temple authority restrictions
  • Government orders

The following conditions apply:

  • No refund for unused hotel stays or transport services.
  • Alternate arrangements will be made wherever possible (additional cost may apply).
  • Partial refund (if any) will depend on recovery from vendors.

🔹 Early Return from Yatra

If the pilgrim decides to return early due to personal reasons, health issues, or altitude discomfort, no refund will be provided for unused services.

🔹 Medical Emergency

  • In case of medical evacuation or emergency hospitalization, additional costs will be borne by the traveler.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel and medical insurance for the Chardham Yatra.

Chardham Yatra operates in high Himalayan regions where weather and government regulations can change suddenly.
