Itinerary Details
Day 1:  Kathgodam – Naukuchiyatal

On arrival in Kathgodam you will be received and driven to the scenic Naukuchiatal (50 km / 1.5 hr) that is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Once here, check in to the hotel. After lunch, enjoy cycle around the riveting area.

Day 2: Naukuchiyatal

Naukuchiata Bicycle Tour, Saat Tal Bicycle Tour Post breakfast; unravel the breath-taking Naukuchiatal and the celestial like Saat Tal area.Fringed by hills covered in trees and shrubs, the land of Naukuchiatal referred to the ‘Lake of Nine Corners’ offers the ideal backdrop. In Saat Tal, seven lakes beautifully connect at the lush Mehragaon Valley.

Day 3: Naukuchiyatal – Mukteshwar

This pleasant day, prep up with breakfast, and go cycling up to the fascinating summit of Mukteshwar. As you pedal along, reel in the refreshing sight of pine trees and charming landscapes. Once you reach the destination, you will be rewarded with views of the Himalayan Peaks, eagles and other birds.

Day 4: Mukteshwar – Chalnichhina

After a hearty breakfast, cycle to the charming village of Chalnichhina. Take delight in the in the initial downhill ride that goes uphill near the destination. Amidst Oak trees and terrace farmlands, Chalnichhina offers mesmerising views of the valley and the snow-capped mountains. The cycling expedition ends today.

Day 5: Chalnichhina

Today, begin the day with an exciting day hike. Sojourn with picnic lunch on inviting estate and the neighbouring area. Accompanying you is walk guide experts who gives you insights into this region and help you mingle with the local people. The highlight of the day includes having tea with the locals, and witnessing heavenly sights once at the top.

Day 6: Chalnichhina – Ganghet

Post a sumptuous breakfast, indulge in a walk uphill to the temple of Jhankarsem, one of the most revered and famous temples of the region. From here, go hiking uphill towards the valley of Dudum, a treat for the eyes. En route, pass through quaint villages and get a whiff of local life. Take in the splendid sights of terraced fields, old Kumaoni houses and small village temples.

Day 7: Ganghet to Thikalna

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, post which saunter through the lush rhododendron and pine forests for an hour. After an exciting uphill and downward stretches, reach the ridge of Naini and continue walking to the ancient Temple of Jageshwar (1780mts) for another one hour. Reflecting the Nagara style of North India, it features a tall curved spire surmounted by an amalaka (capstone) and a kalasha crown. After visiting the temple complex, relish in a picnic lunch nearby.
Post lunch, set off for an uphill walk to Gurdaba Village and pass through some of the oldest Deodar forests in the entire region. Tread along the ridge towards Bridh Jageshwar temple complex (2229mts) and sink in the splendid views of the Nanda Devi Range on your left. Explore the fascinating facets of the temple. A befitting finish to the walk is to the pleasant village of Thikalna where you will halt for the night. Spend the evening at leisure and by a bonfire.

Day 8: Thikalna

Indulge in breakfast, and take a refreshing walk downhill through a small trail laced with Rhododendron trees. Continue walking on the trail to Dhaulchina. From here, head downhill through the verdant pine forest to ‘Kachula’ and then carry on to the small village town of ‘Barechina’. Indulge in the sights of villages buzzing with little children, people farming their fields, elderly men enjoying their hookah over tea, cattle grazing, and the elegant Magpie. From Barechina, enjoy the vehicle ride to the village house for a late lunch. Come evening and mingle with the local people over a merry bonfire.

Day 9: Thikalna – Kathgodam

Transfer to Kathgodam railway station for your onward journey (4 hours).
