Often referred to as the “Chhota Kailash Yatra,” this sacred journey offers devotees and adventure seekers a unique opportunity to witness the divine energy of nature, untouched beauty, and age-old spiritual significance.

Om Parvat – Nature’s Divine Miracle
Om Parvat is a rare natural phenomenon where the snow deposition forms a distinct ‘ॐ’ symbol on the mountain surface—an awe-inspiring sight for pilgrims and trekkers alike. Standing tall at an altitude of approximately 6,191 meters, Om Parvat is revered as a sacred symbol of Lord Shiva. Om Parvat is Situated near the Indo-Nepal-China border in the Darchula district of Uttarakhand.

This sacred peak is not just a destination—it’s a revelation. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, calm valleys, and deep silence, Om Parvat is believed to radiate powerful spiritual vibrations. For devout Hindus, witnessing the ‘Om’ symbol naturally carved by snow.
Adi Kailash – The Ancient Abode of Lord Shiva
Just a few kilometers away lies Adi Kailash, also known as Chhota Kailash. It is believed to be an ancient and original abode of Lord Shiva, even before the more famous Mount Kailash in Tibet. Located at an altitude of 6,191 meters in the Kinnaur district near the Indo-Tibetan border, Adi Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash peaks and holds immense religious significance.

The landscape around Adi Kailash is breathtaking, with the serene Parvati Sarovar and Gauri Kund nearby. These sacred water bodies are believed to be the places where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati spent time in deep meditation. The sight of Adi Kailash reflecting in the calm waters is deeply spiritual and visually enchanting.

The Journey and Experience
Route to Om Parvat and Adi Kailash is as enriching as the destination. The journey typically starts from Dharchula, a picturesque town in Uttarakhand. Pilgrims pass through scenic locations like Gunji, Kalapani, and Nabidhang, crossing rivers, forests, and rugged Himalayan terrain. Though remote, the entire route is supported by government efforts and local guides to ensure safety and comfort.

The trek is not just physically challenging but also emotionally and spiritually uplifting. Each step taken towards these holy mountains is seen as a path to inner peace and divine connection.

A Call to the Seekers
