Today is about your 1st day of the 6 nights 7 days tour in Uttarakhand. Start with arriving at New Delhi airport or the railway station at a decided time schedule. Our tour representative will welcome you and assist you with hotel transfers in Haridwar, which is the major Gateway of the famous Chardham Yatra. After checking into your hotel, have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to rest and get rid of jet lag or tiredness from the long journey. In the evening, your itinerary entails taking a visit to the famous Har Ki Pauri at the Ganga Ghat to witness the magnificence of the massive evening Ganga Aarti Ceremony. The ideal way to capture this sacred and religious Hindu ritual is to take a boat cruise on the holy Ganga River and have a panoramic view of this prominent custom while in Haridwar. Later return to your hotel for dinner and stay overnight.
Have your breakfast on the 2nd day before checking out of the hotel and proceed towards Mussoorie, one of the popular hill stations of Uttarakhand. Mussoorie is nicknamed the Queen of Hills due to having stunning landscapes no matter wherever you go. Since it is located at an altitude of 2003m above sea level in the Garhwal Hills, this destination offers some scenic meadows and lush green forests. If you want to also visit the shrines of Gangotri and Yamunotri, Mussoorie is the Gateway for you. After checking into your hotel, you can set off to explore Mall Road in the evening for shopping.
On the 3rd day of your tour, get ready to enjoy a sightseeing tour in Mussoorie after breakfast in the hotel. Start your journey by visiting Kempty Falls. If you want to get to the foot of the waterfalls, you can take the steps or the tramway to reach there. They continue towards the corporate garden, which presents a lovely scenery of colourful flowers and a man made waterfall. Next, you can explore Sir George Everest and Benog Wildlife Sanctuary along with Vinog Mountain Quail Sanctuary. If time allows, later, you can choose to visit Mussoorie Adventure Park, Gun Hill, Lal Tibba, etc., before returning to your hotel and staying overnight.
Today travel towards Jim Corbett after having your breakfast and set off on a 5 to 6 hours drive from Mussoorie to Jim Corbett. This hill station has been renamed several times from Hailey National Park to Ramganga and is currently known as Jim Corbett, named after a famous naturalist cum author Jim Corbett who played a prominent role in investing the majority of his life establishing the national park. Reach Corbett nestled against the foothills of the Himalayas, driving through the scenic towns and village valleys on the Gangetic plains. Check into your hotel, settle in and have your lunch before getting ready for an evening excursion with Jim Corbett.
Day 5: Jim Corbett National Park Jungle Safari – Nainital transfer
On your 5th day of the tour, start early to check out from your hotel and proceed for a Jungle safari in the Jim Corbett Tiger National Park. Early morning safaris are great for spotting evasive tigers and other wild animals. Before proceeding towards Nainital, make a stop to have breakfast, then go on a 5 to 6 hours drive to reach your hotel or resort in Nainital. Have the rest of the day to spend in leisure after checking in, or you can opt for a Naini Lake Cruise in the evening.
Day 6: Full Day excursion of Nainital
Have your breakfast before getting ready for a full-day excursion of Nainital today. Since this charming hill station is located right on the foothills of the Kumaon Ranges in the Himalayas, the place is blessed with many lakes with heavenly beauties. So first, go on a Lake Tour before exploring popular landmarks like Land’s End, Naina Devi Temple, Tiffin Point, Naini Zoo, etc.
